Temperature Pre-Screening and Monitoring for Employers
SAFETY: In the wake of COVID-19, there is a significant need to keep employees safe. Recent CDC guidelines (employers – May 11, 2020) include pre-screening and regular monitoring of temperature as recommended safety protocols.

FIRST-Guardian™ provides increased confidence for safe and sustained return to work. It features data-driven decisions/response. Risk management includes identification of infectious employees based on their (cumulative) unique temperature patterns. There is onsite access to telemedicine care. It is designed to follow CDC/OSHA guidelines and is applicable for COVID-19 and beyond.
Pre-Screen: Employers should measure the employee’s temperature and assess symptoms prior to them starting work. Ideally, temperature checks should happen before the individual enters the facility. Regular Monitoring: As long as the employee doesn’t have a temperature or symptoms, they should self-monitor under the supervision of their employer’s occupational health program.
Prompt identification and isolation of potentially infectious individuals is a critical step in protecting workers, customers, visitors, and others at a worksite.
Employers should inform and encourage employees to self-monitor for signs and symptoms of COVID-19 if they suspect possible exposure.
Participating employers will internally administer a database of employee names and corresponding ID numbers. Only the ID numbers will be provided to SCT Healthcare Solutions, who will acquire temperature data, perform analytics, predictive modeling, and correlate to respective ID number. By isolating employee data and employee name, individual privacy is protected.
